Top 10 Ancient Civilizations in the world documentary is an ancient history documentary hd. In the course of history, humans started living together with mutual understanding and dependency on each other, and formed larger communities, societies and civilizations. This documentary is about oldest civilizations to have ever existed in the world.
The civilizations are presented in chronological order, starting with the most recent first. Here are top 10 ancient civilizations to have ever existed:
10. The Inca Civilization Peru (1438 AD–1532 AD) - Then Incan Empire was the largest empire in South America in the pre-Columbian era, in the areas of present-day Ecuador, Peru, and Chile.This led to a significant rise in the power of the Incas who went on to become great builders, constructing fortresses and sites like Machu Picchu and the city of Cusco that still stand to this day.

9. The Aztec Civilization Mexico (1345 AD–1521 AD) - Around 1325 AD, it appeared as new state to dominate the Valley of Mexico, within a century of the fall of the Mayans empire. The city of Tenochtitlan became the capital. In the early 1500s, the Aztec civilization was indeed at the height of its power, but then the Spanish arrived and the Aztec empire ended in 1521 as a result of a war with the Spanish invaders.

8. The Roman Civilization Rome (550 BC–465 AD) - Roman civilization originated from Village of the Latini, Rome, and became the most powerful ancient civilization. It expanded to all land in the Mediterranean region. It became Roman Republic after the introduction of Senate to rule over the country. Julius Caesar, Trajan, and Augustus were the prominent rulers. In the end, the Roman Empire was attacked by barbarians from the north and east of Europe, and it ended.

The Persian Civilization (550 BC – 331 BC) - This most powerful empire of the world which lasted over 200 years and conquered an area of two million square miles, from the southern parts of Egypt, Greece, and to the eastern parts of India. The Persian Empire was known for its military might and wise rulers.

The ancient Greeks changed the world forever and are still being talked about to this day.
The Greeks invented the ancient Olympics, democracy and the Senate, and laid the foundations for modern geometry, biology, and physics. Pythagoras, Archimedes, Socrates, Euclid, Plato, Aristotle, and Alexander the Great are known for their contributions that had a significant impact on subsequent civilizations.

5. The Chinese Civilization (1600 BC–1046 BC) - Ancient China has one of the most diverse history. It remained under rule of different dynasties. It started from the the Yellow River by the Yellow Emperor 2700 BC. It ended in 1912 AD.
This marked the end of more than four millennia of ancient Chinese civilization. They made a lot of inventions and products such as gunpowder, paper, printing, the compass, alcohol, cannons, and many more.

4. The Maya Civilization Yucatan (2600 BC–900 AD) - With a population of about 19 million, the Maya civilization flourished in Central America and they are known for the calendar they introduced. By 700 BC, the Mayans had already devised their own system of writing. They built pyramids that are larger than those in Egypt. But the sudden decline and abrupt end of the Mayans has long been a mystery.

3. The Egyptian Civilization (3150 BC–30 BC) - A majestic civilization from the banks of the river Nile, is known for its prodigious culture, its pharaohs, the enduring pyramids, and the Sphinx. Ancient Egypt gave us the pyramids, the mummies that preserve the ancient pharaohs to this day.

2. The Indus Valley Civilization (3300 BC–1900 BC) - It is second most oldest civilization in the world in the region of the Indus Valley, in present day Pakistan. It was the most widespread, covering an area of 1.25 million kilometers.

The Mesopotamian Civilization is known as the first civilization to have ever emerged. It is known as the craddle of civilization. The timeline of ancient Mesopotamia is usually held to be from around 3300 BC to 750 BC. It is from where agriculture, farming and domestication of animals started.
